Dear Brethren,

We thank God and praise Him for the academic year that is about to close. Graduation is set for March 28th and in just four short weeks, of the 85 grads, 75 young men are going forth to establish local churches throughout India. Peoples Baptist Ministries is working, planting churches, in 27 of 29 states in India. We are also working in Nepal and Myanmar (Burma). As stated in our last prayer letter, this ministry is unique in that every day somewhere in Peoples Baptist Ministries, many souls receive Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord.

Enclosed is our record of gifts received during 2007. The cost per student is $ 60.00 per month which in itself, is not a large amount, but multiply this times 360 students and we require $ 21,600.00 each month. Looking at our support numbers, we have a shortfall of $ 10,400.00 per month. Special undesignated gifts help to fill this gap. Because of the devaluation in currency exchange, we lose 75 to 80 thousand rupees on $ 10,000.00. Translated, this represents an average of 14 to 16% less on exchange. This is really choking our cash flow. In round numbers, a student can be educated during his four years for $ 2,900.00. We would ask that those receiving this letter, prayerfully consider supporting a young man through his academic years.

Individuals and churches have responded to our four year overdraft of $ 71,000.00 and we thank God for each one and to all those that support this ministry in prayer. We are partners together in reaching souls for Christ in India and its neighboring countries. Will you, upon every remembrance, pray for the needs of the college, the overall ministry and the protection of the pastors in the field.
