May 2011 Prayer Letter
Dear Praying Friends,
Greetings in our Lords precious name,
First the Praises
Thank God for the out reach ministries in the month of march and April several hundred people come to know the Lord and over 350 been baptized in several places.
- New opportunities been open in Meghalaya state and in new area in Myanmar.
- Five new churches been started new souls are saved baptized and follow up are going on these new works.
- Peoples Baptist church building is dedicated in old facilities and new souls added to the congregation, and several graduates were sending for the ministries with in the last three weeks.
- Peoples Baptist Bible college & seminary, closing conference were 30th of the march to 3rd of April, The graduation was on 1st April 49 students were graduated, as well as 30 students were graduated from one of our extension school from Orissa. Dr Jeff Amsbough and Dr. William Jeffcott, They both shared the Word of God, Dr. Amsbough traveled with me to Punjab our second Bible college in the North of India He also shared the Word of God for the closing conference and the Pastors conference. During these conferences few people trusted the Lord and many preachers, graduates, students and believers re committed their lives to the Lord.
- My visit to Manipur and Myanmar for special meetings, it was so great one of the meetings in the boarder of Myanmar, Rezoye Baptist Church, where Pastoring by one of our graduate Pastor Aping, held special meeting many trusted the Lord, and one of our church from Myanmar attended and brought many to the meetings and 15 were saved as well as great many opportunities for various ministries are open.
- Ministry in Jammu & Kashmir is growing people been saved and the Churches are growing, even with all dangerous of many things and satiation the people of God are strengthened, by the work of God.
- All the Gospel teams are on the Fields for this summer ministries, various meetings are held so far and out reaching to new areas are going well, several souls been saved and added to the churches, extension schools are going on in Orissa, Chhattisgarh, and Punjab.
- Three graduates were sending to the eastern part of the Nepal and they are settle down and began to sow the seeds.
- Summer ministries for sending out the teams we have received some funds thank God for that, and pray with us to have more financial support to keep them on the field.
For Prayer to meet the needs.
- We have a property to get near the Myanmar nearly 40 acre land for an extension school and a training center, for the Burmese students as well as some Manipur and Nagaland students, need $38000.00, and would like to keep some Cows and Goats to generate some income (a small diary farm).
- Need more bicycles, especially for out reach in Punjab, Haryana, and Manipur states.
- Thank God we were able to buy a piece of land for a church building and for the children’s home in Amritsar, now we need financial assistance for the building.
- Punjab College need to rent another building and furniture needs when we reopen the college by the July. The property what we got for the Punjab college, we are trying to put some boundaries, and pray with us that we might have the funds to begin to build facilities.
- Pastor Laxman in Jammu Kashmir need a two wheeler (Motor bike) need vary badly for the work of the Lord in His church and visiting other Brethren in that States
- The Work In Badravathy in Karnataka our third college will be open by the second week of July; these facilities need some furniture and kitchen utensils. The peoples Baptist Church in Badravathy under the leader ship of Pastor Rajan is going on well, The Children’s home here is going well and Thank God we have small property bought for the home. The women’s training center here in this place become a source of out reach, as many as 58 women’s are trained, making mattes and floor carpets by the coconuts fiber, it is a great blessing, pastor Rajan need a used tractor for this project here to maintain and improving and few sowing machines, and he need nearly $4500.00.
- We took some teams in the north Easton region of India and Myanmar, souls been saved and churches been planted. One of the great difficulties we faced for the transportation, I my self visited at least three times with in the last 7 months. Lot of money spent for transportation, it could be much better and profitable if we could get a jeep in these mountain region of ministry, will you pray with us that the Lord may provide a Vehicle for this great need.
- Need additional support for the three new graduates went to Nepal for ministry.
- Timothy our son finish his third year in the college pray for his needs, thank God for the supplying of his need, he did very good in his studies, he would love to go home and involve in summer ministries.
- Thank God Johnson and Debbie are doing great. Johnson is doing a fine Job in the north College and traveling and encouraging and meeting with pastors and graduates constantly for the furtherance of the gospel. It is a great burden in my heart for their financial monthly assistance, as they are serving the Lord with the ministry with their little once (Jabez 8 years and Jonathan 6 years). Spending from His earning from his previous Job for last three years are getting thinner, I have shared this personal and ministerial needs with couple of my friends for prayer, would you also pray with us that the Lord may raise and meet their need. - Look like a long letter and sharing lot of needs, (literally shared only few) but the ministries also getting larger, will get more news by the Peoples Baptist voice by next month
