Current Needs and Prayer Requests
- Pastor/evangelist support is needed - URGENT We are $15,000 per month short of these needs. Upon graduation our students head to the field to start planting churches. They need $75 per month to meet basic expenses. They don’t go on “deputation” like in the States. There is little time and most churches are not self supporting because of the abysmally high unemployment /underemployment rate.
Will you support 1 or more church planting workers each month? Remember, these men are doing the work that you would do if you could and they are going forth trusting the Lord to meet their needs. Others have spent over $2 million for infrastructure improvements. Now we need in-field pastor as well as student monthly support. This is your opportunity to invest in the lives and livelihoods of Indian pastors who are planting churches in India and neighboring countries - in your place.
- Students support is needed - A native Indian can be trained at PBBC&S for only $60-65 per month which includes tuition, room and board, books, and supplies. We only take students with a burden for lost souls and church planting. If they cannot afford tuition, we support them.
- This year we graduated 86 students with 69 going to the field. At $75/month each, that places an additional burden on our finances of $5,175 per month. Plus 4 girls graduated and went to the field to help in church ministries and Children’s homes.
- We need many bicycles and a few motorcycles to assist our church planting pastors do their job.
- Northern India And Pakistan Ministries
Lord willing, we need to start another Bible College in northern India. It will be located in the state of Punjab. Why Punjab? Because the area is so open to the Gospel. Moreover, this would give us an open door to reach the seven northern Indian states (1. Jammu and Kashmir. 2. Himachal Pradesh. 3. Uttar Pradesh. 4. Uttarnchal. 5. Punjab. 6. Haryana. 7. Gujarat and even Pakistan!
We have rented a building to use as our Bible College in Punjab. We want to get started with about 20-25 students which means we will need $2,000-$3,000 to supply room, board and utilities.
